    As the year 2016 comes to a close, now is the time to start getting ready for some of the most exciting events that will be held in Miami throughout the course of the next year. During both Miami Spice and Carnaval Miami, which both take place in Miami, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.

    The following is a selection of a few of the events that you won’t want to pass up if they’re happening in the month of August!

    Miami Spice, August 1 – September 30

    The event known as Miami Spice takes place all across the city over the course of two months. It inspires restaurants from all across the city to put their best foot forward and display some of the delicacies that have become recognized as being associated with them.

    In addition, chefs work hard to provide three-course meals for either lunch or dinner at reasonable costs so that patrons of all financial means have the opportunity to dine in some of the city’s finest dining establishments. So take advantage of this beautiful chance during the next two months and eat as much as you can at the hundreds of restaurants participating throughout South Florida.

    The Miami Spice festival, which begins on August 1 and continues through September 30, is a celebration of the great food found in Miami. It includes meals that have become synonymous with their creators, renowned chefs from all around the world.

    Afro-Cuban Dance Festival, August 11-13

    You must make time to attend the three-day Afro-Cuban Dance Festival, organized by the IFE-ILE Dance Company, with assistance from the Miami Salsa Congress.

    If you are a fan of dance or just enjoy learning about other cultures, you will not want to miss this event. The festival will have seminars in which attendees may discover a variety of dances, some of which include the Cha-Cha-Cha, Mambo, and Rumba, amongst others.

    Monster Jam is something that may not be for everyone. Still, there will undoubtedly be many individuals who like it. If you have kids, you should take them to this event since they will certainly be amazed by the enormous size of the trucks and the performance that they put on.

    The BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, will play host to three separate concerts on the 13th and 14th of August, and tickets can be purchased for as little as $20 each.

    Ricky Martin Concert, August 27

    Indeed, Ricky Martin isn’t as big of a pop artist as he used to be. However, he’s still a massive deal in the Latino community of Miami. Every time he plays in South Florida, it will be a concert that people won’t forget in a hurry.

    This performance will only be held for one night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. However, it is not one you will want to miss.

    Drake Summer Sixteen Tour, August 30-31

    There is likely no better way to say goodbye to August than by going to a show by one of the most well-known musicians or performers now active in the industry.

    Because Drake will be playing back-to-back nights at the American Airlines Arena in Miami near the end of August, there will be no excuse for anybody to miss either of his shows due to this scheduling conflict.

    The best course of action for you is to get tickets as soon as you can since doing so will provide you with something to look forward to for the whole of the month.

    Spice is an excellent chance to sample some of Miami’s most delectable food.
