The Best Rooftop Bars in Miami Summer 2019

The recent Brickell and Downtown explosion has given some fantastic rooftop spots. Even relatively small neighborhoods like Wynwood and Buena Vista also add to the option of rooftop bars in Miami. We love this, especially because many Miami Beach and Miami bars aren’t content with just good views.

These places are a great way to see Miami from a different perspective. So time your visit with a memorable Miami sunset and prepare to be wowed.

Sugar

788 Brickell Plz , Miami FL 33131

The elevator will take you up 40 stories before arriving at Sugar, the EAST hotel’s ultra-trendy rooftop club. If you wait long enough, you’ll be rewarded with 360-degree views of the city and nearby canals, Asian-themed drinks (such as the Sweet Life, a sweet cocktail made with Thai iced tea, lemon, and whiskey), and a setting that seems more like a hidden, fairytale garden than a bar.

You will have to wait in line to get to Sugar if you schedule it incorrectly. And that queue may be somewhat lengthy at times. That queue is nearly always pretty long on Friday and Saturday evenings. Because the bar is small—perhaps the size of a basketball court—it has a limited capacity. If you don’t want to wait, come early, before the happy hour crowds arrive, and you should be alright.

WATR at the 1 rooftop at 1 Hotel & Homes

2341 Collins Ave, Miami, FL 33139

When you reserve a hotel at this one-of-a-kind beachfront resort, which spans an entire city block, you won’t be able to avoid the beach. Reclaimed wood structures and a neutral color palette with sandy tones and beachy (off) whites bring the sea into the nature-inspired rooms.

The atmosphere is very Zen, and at night, you’ll feel as if you’ve returned to South Beach, where a sleek rooftop pool and bar give way to one of the city’s most fabulous rooftop parties, which lasts until the early hours.

While soaking in the sun on top of the clouds at South Beach’s giant rooftop pool, positioned 18 stories above the beach, with a Peruvian-inspired Japanese cuisine menu, enjoy views extending from the Atlantic Ocean to South Beach’s Art Deco roofs and Biscayne Bay.

The music is more comparable to breaking waves than the typical club bangers. Something about this place’s laid-back feel makes you want to stay forever.

Astra

2103 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127 – Wynwood

Astra is a Greek-themed restaurant with a retractable roof and a capacity of over 350 people. Astra, a rooftop bar in the center of Wynwood, is inspired by the colorful lounges of Mykonos. At 10,000 square feet, the space is relatively spacious, with appropriate dining tables and more casual sitting choices for drinking and lounging.

The bar is the most recent addition to the Wynwood rooftop scene (a tiny club). Expect Greek cuisine on the menu, which is heavy on seafood and mastika and ouzo behind the bar. In addition, guests may order horiataki (a Greek salad), paidakia (grilled lamb chops), and other Greek foods to eat.

The bar will also feature specialty cocktails and alcoholic Greek favorites such as mastika and ouzo. In addition, Astra hopes to host a weekend brunch, rooftop yoga, and other special events.

Vista

5020 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137

A very tiny rooftop lounge—but a rooftop lounge nonetheless! Vista lives in the charming Upper Buena Vista retail complex and serves some delicious food that leans towards rustic Italian cuisine. Of course, you must get a table on the rooftop deck.

Mostly outdoors, with an expansive bar and just-opened rooftop, the vista is where rustic Italian cuisine meets tropical boho vibes. Food runs from traditional pasta dishes and charcuterie spreads to seasonally inspired local eats, like the flavorful Florida snapper over sweet coconut rice.

There’s plenty to drink, too, such as wines by the glass and bottle and a shortlist of handcrafted cocktails. The perfect romantic spot with a 150-year-old banyan tree that shades the cozy space.

Juvia

1111 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Eclectic food and drink, plus South Beach views in an ultra-modern space atop a designer parking garage with a phenomenal view, which diners take in from the penthouse level of the famed Herzog & de Meuron-designed Lincoln Road parking garage.

The ideas, as well as the talent, are prodigious. In the kitchen are Laurent Cantineaux, a protégé of Daniel Boulud; former Nobu chef Sunny Oh; and pastry chef Gregory Gourreau, who honed his sweet tooth under the tutelage of Alain Ducasse and François Payard. Together, the trio creates a wonderfully eclectic menu of East-meets-West-meets-Paris dishes.

Wet Deck

485 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131

This rooftop club, pool, and lounge—formerly known as Fifty Ultra Lounge—has one of the best and highest views in the city. It’s a great spot to spend an evening, and it just may discourage you from going to the beach.

The pricey poolside deck and club, located fifty floors above, has an infinity pool, clear views of the coastline, private cabanas, and relaxing lounge music that will make you feel like you’re right on the beach, but without the risk of sand or children invading your personal space. So relax on the chaises and indulge in the pleasure of tropical drinks and light nibbles provided to your chairside, which you didn’t have to prepare.

Serena Rooftop

915 Collins Ct Miami, FL 33139

Moxy Miami South Beach is a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Miami. Guests climb a staircase from the center courtyard to Serena, our open-air rooftop bar and restaurant inspired by the beautiful outdoor patio dining of Oaxaca and Mexico City. Serena, located on a bright, lushly planted patio, has a laid-back but elegant ambiance, unlike any other South Beach bar or restaurant.

An attractive ambiance for buzzy brunches with live music and great snacks at sunset is created by lounge and table seating, an enormous menu of sharing dishes, and a contemporary spin on classic Latin and Mexican food. So before returning to your pet-friendly hotel or suite with free Wi-Fi, ocean views, under-bed storage, and more, join us for the after-party.

Area 31

270 Biscayne Blvd Way, Miami, FL 33131

Area 31 is an exciting rooftop bar with Biscayne Bay views that offer Mediterranean food and tropical beverages. Area 31 is placed on top of the posh EPIC Hotel in Brickell, west of the city center. It features an outdoor patio and happy hour promotions.

You’ll enjoy beautiful bayfront views in a rich, contemporary environment with upscale furnishings when you visit Area 31. While feasting on local seafood, fresh tropical fruit, and unique artisan drinks, you may watch the boats on the harbor or the sunset over the water.

The best rooftop bars in Miami offer stunning views, delicious food and drinks, and a variety of fun activities. You’ll find what you’re searching for at rooftop hotspots, whether it’s a romantic spot to watch the sunset or a bustling venue to dance the night away.

So, when staying in one of our luxury short-term rentals in Miamipenthouses for rent in Miamivillas for rent in Miami, or South Beach vacation rentals, stop by these rooftop bars in Miami for a memorable experience.

Top Sports Bars in Miami 2020

Miami is the area to go to if you like various sporting events and activities. Because there are so many sports pubs in this city, you should have no trouble finding one that supports your preferred sporting organization. The following is a list of the five best sports bars in Miami for 2020.

BATCH GASTROPUB

30 SW 12th St., Miami

Featuring a sports bar, lounge, and restaurant, you can almost always catch an exciting crowd at Batch Gastropub at any time of the day. Far from your average bar food and beer taps, get a taste of delicious Mac Attack Mac & Cheese, BBQ Bison Burger, or truffle fries. Along with an extensive beer menu, enjoy some signature craft cocktails. Finally, don’t miss out on Happy Hour – a hot spot for locals after work.

University of Florida supporters may secure a table to watch the game — most with a keg at the table — at the designated gathering place for the Gator Club of Miami. It’s like going back to college, except better.

The people who invented the foot pedal for the restroom door were miles ahead of the viral-precaution curve. But Batch is about more than just fancy (and clean!) toilets; it’s also been the go-to spot for Brickellites to watch sports and meet other Brickellites during late-night decision-making hours for years. Batch’s durability may be attributed to its best-in-Miami cuisine, including a prime brisket burger, brick oven pizza, one of Miami’s greatest mac-and-cheeses, and a pecan-infused whiskey that can now be purchased by the bottle and taken home.

GRAILS SPORTS BAR

2800 N. Miami Ave., Miami

The first to hit Wynwood, Grails is no ordinary sports bar. With over 60 TV screens to catch any of your favorite teams, the venue sports a sneaker theme and has live music, art, and gourmet foods. The sports bar has seating indoors, under a covered patio, and outside when weather permits.

The sneaker-themed Grails offers everything you need for a fantastic game day, from daily beer deals to live music, delicious comfort food, and more than 60 TV screens. So gather around a television displaying the game of your choice and order a beverage delivered in a ceramic drinking jug shaped like a shoe. (There are enough monitors to display all of them.) There is room for around 70 people inside, 120 people on the covered terrace, and 100 people outdoors. The menu includes everything from pasture-raised chicken wings to black-truffle fries and Buffalo cauliflower.

If you’ve ever dreamed of drinking from a shoe-shaped mug while relaxing under the shadow of a $3,000 sneaker, consider this Valhalla. The self-professed sneakerheads behind the Cocktail Cartel have opened a sports bar in their image. The walls are adorned in collectible Jordans, Yeezys, and Back to the Future limited editions. The ceilings are dripping with big-screen TVs. The incredible back patio lets you enjoy a game in the pleasant South Florida weather while sipping your way through an impressive list of creations highlighted by the Satisfy Your Sole, a vodka, watermelon, and ginger concoction served in, you guessed it, a ceramic shoe.

MIKE’S AT VENETIA

555 NE 15th St. (ninth floor), Miami

If you’re looking for a more low-key, no-frills experience, check out Mike’s tucked away on the Venetian Causeway. Situated on the ninth floor, enjoy Miami’s beautiful breeze and views until 3 a.m. while you catch the games on over 20 TV sets while playing a game of pool.

Mike’s is another excellent place to watch NFL games, and a range of fans can be found here. Its specials are hard to beat and feature a beer selection with more than 18 taps for every taste and mood.

Every community needs a no-frills sports bar that serves high-quality meals at a reasonable price. Mike’s in Downtown Miami has one. This long-running institution has kept its local character for years, tucked in the Venetia condo complex at the foot of the Venetian Causeway. Take the elevator to the ninth level to see what it offers. The pub has more than 20 televisions, pool tables, daily specials, breezy Miami views, and the delight of discovering a true hidden treasure.

SHUCKERS WATERFRONT BAR & GRILL

1819 79THST CSWY. NORTH BAY VILLAGE

For a more traditional sports bar but with quite the view, check out Shuckers. Here you get breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay, with a beautiful outdoor seating patio. While watching your favorite teams play, enjoy raw lobsters, bacon cheeseburger, or their famous wings. Happy Hour features many great deals on beer pitchers and frozen drinks.

When you come inside Shuckers, the first thing you’ll notice is the stunning view of Biscayne Bay. The games that are televised on dozens of flat-screen displays follow. Order a dozen or three of the restaurant’s famed raw oysters, fresh fish fillets, chicken wings, or a bacon cheeseburger cooked with USDA Prime beef as your stomach starts to grumble. Happy Hour runs from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and includes $11 Bud Light pitchers, $6 okay drinks, $3 beers, $4 bottles, and $8 frozen cocktails.

Shuckers will host a varied crowd of football enthusiasts on Sundays, ranging from Cleveland Browns to Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So come at least 30 minutes early to get a TV. The deals change daily, and it doesn’t do the entire drink specials thing, but the waterside vistas are hard to top.

DUFFY’S SPORTS GRILL

3969 NE 163RDST. NORTH MIAMI BEACH
At Duffy’s, a South Florida staple for game day, you can catch any game you’re looking for on any one of the dozens of TVs anywhere you turn. Enjoy bar-food favorites and two-for-one drink specials poolside in a lively atmosphere while you cheer on your team. In addition, you can sometimes catch the resident DJ pumping hits, making it an even more enjoyable experience.

While Duffy’s sports bar empire has fewer empty seats on a Sunday than Sun Life Stadium, the best of the lot is this one on the Intracoastal in North Miami Beach. Duffy’s first Dade County location has a sprawling outdoor patio that you can boat right up to, plus a swimming pool, live DJ, and two-for-one drinks every day.

Being a sports bar in Miami, it’s not enough to have televisions that show the game. The food and drinks have to be as good as a play. So at Duffy’s Sports Grill, visitors flock to the place for its HD televisions while chowing down on the bar’s specialties – including their chicken wings with spicy Death Sauce. Then, they wash them down with one of their famed drinks.

Our 6 Favorite Miami Beach Bars For Every Occasion

The Regent Cocktail Club

The Regent Cocktail Club on Collins Avenue is a moody cocktail bar that mirrors a 1940’s speakeasy in the heart of Miami Beach. The seductive, eclectic decor creates an effortlessly classy atmosphere, complete with live music. Make yourself comfortable on the leather sofas and allow the mixologist to whip up something special for you.

Inside the Gale, Hotel is the Regent Cocktail Club, a 1940s-era speakeasy in the center of tourist-heavy South Beach. The atmosphere is provided with dim lighting, antique furnishings, vintage champagne glasses, and a comprehensive cocktail menu created by Bar Lab. Cocktails are classic alcoholic beverages meant to be savored rather than consumed. For the last five years, the Regent has been doing what every neo-bar in town has done: making the past cool again.

The Regent Cocktail Club, named one of the Top Ten Hotel Bars in the World, has a diverse cocktail menu. The rich sense of a cigar club inspired by balmy Havana evenings is embodied by the mix of space, music, drinks, and genuine hospitality.

La Côte

Relax with a drink in hand by the ocean at La Côte. This two-story, open-air space features white decor with palm trees and a pristine lounging area by the pool. Get comfortable with a cocktail on one of the white sofas or enjoy a delicious Mediterranean lunch in the café area. You will usually find a DJ or live band playing here to create an upbeat atmosphere.

This beautiful, bi-level space in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach has a sun-drenched, South of France atmosphere, with clean whites, brilliant teals, and an unbeatable ocean view. The top-level views of the pool and the ocean make it ideal for relaxing with a glass of rosé (or a pitcher of their namesake punch) and a platter of oysters while watching the bar scene come alive with fashionable guests conversing to DJ-spun music.

Clevelander South Beach Bar

Spend an evening at the Clevelander South Beach Bar on Ocean Drive for an outdoor party experience like nowhere else in Miami. This bar sits right in the middle of the city’s nightlife scene featuring multiple pools and a rooftop lounge. You’ll find some of the city’s most impressive live music shows here, including artists like Snoop Dogg and DJ Khaled.

Head on over to The Clevelander if you want your beer and burgers to come with an extra helping of good times. There aren’t many venues where you can swim, hang out with body-painted girls, and drink $5 beverages all at the same time. Jack Daniel’s shots were followed by $5 beer bottles (during football games). To be more specific, football. Also, there’s that. You may watch the big game on a 20-foot LED screen and more than 40 additional TVs around the property.

Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery

Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery is the ideal spot for every date night. With dim lighting, candles, leather sofas, and delicious cocktails, Swizzle knows just how to set the mood. With around 150 varieties of rum, you’ll find classic craft cocktails mixed with a strong dose of creative freedom.

This tiny bar pays tribute to the cherished spirit of the Caribbean: rum, and is run by the same management team that brought you, Employees, Only Miami. About 150 different types of rum are available at the bar, which may be sipped or used in cocktails. Swizzle serves classics like a rum Manhattan and unique concoctions like the El Presidente, which combines rum, pomegranate, molasses, and Angostura bitters. Chicken wings and Cuban sandwiches are served from a modest kitchen.

The famous tiki-themed hotel bar that closed unexpectedly in 2018 is returning in a new location with a significantly improved beverage menu. Swizzle drinks—the frozen cocktail’s delectable forerunner—remain its specialty. Still, the craft cocktail bar has expanded its menu to include classic cocktails and new spins on old favorites.

LIV

LIV is known as Miami Beach’s most upscale dance club, with a luxurious atmosphere, able to wow anyone. The exclusive South Beach lounge always boasts high energy, a classy crowd, and live music with performances by some top artists like Robin Thicke.

LIV at Fontainebleau, frequently recognized as one of the best nightlife venues in the world, returned for its ninth season following a $10 million facelift. LIV has revolutionized Miami Beach nightlife and pioneered the nightlife experience.

Groot Hospitality’s David Grutman hired respected experiential design company ICRAVE to supervise the renovation. LIV will continue to set the setting for the ultimate nightlife experience with nearly 18,000 square feet of spectacular architecture, high ceilings, vivid lighting, and its signature dome.

LIV occupies the site of the world-famous Tropigala Lounge, formerly known as the La Ronde Room, in the 1950s and 1960s. Frank Sinatra originally lighted the stage. He was followed by Sammy Davis Jr., Ann Miller, Elvis Presley, and Tony Bennet. LIV has transformed the room into a mecca for style, celebrity, and glitz.

The Regent Cocktail Club on Collins Avenue is a moody cocktail bar that mirrors a 1940s speakeasy in the heart of Miami Beach. The seductive, eclectic decor creates an effortlessly classy atmosphere, complete with live music. Make yourself comfortable on the leather sofas and allow the mixologist to whip up something special for you.

This little speakeasy can be found just behind the Gale Hotel; to get there, you may either go a long way via the hotel lobby or, more conveniently, enter through the hotel’s charming tiny back patio. The drinks served here are intended to pay homage to the building’s beginnings in 1941.

Unfortunately, the cocktail bar gives the impression that it was just serving Martinis to advertising executives during the space race just before you stepped in, thanks to its high ceilings and low-slung, black leather banquettes. Nevertheless, it would be not easy to find a more delightful setting to linger over a classic libation than The Regent, particularly when the circumstance calls for a magnificent cocktail, which is the only thing that will do since there is nothing else that could work.

However, you should take a cue from its size and keep your crew small to get the most out of the experience. If you don’t, you may as well grab a seat at the bar and watch the event all by yourself.

No matter what you desire, you can be confident that you will be drinking one of Miami Beach’s finest drinks. The atmosphere Vintage cool A mass of people A sophisticated assortment of skilled bartenders The cuisine Small Italian bites This service, which Those who are experts in mixed drinks (in a good way)

La Côte

At La Côte, you may take it easy with a drink in hand as you watch the waves roll in. This open-air room comprises two stories and has white furnishings, palm palms located all around, and a spotless sitting area beside the pool. Relax with a drink while lounging on one of the white couches and have a delectable lunch inspired by the cuisine of the Mediterranean in the café area. To maintain the lively vibe that this place is known for, the entertainment generally consists of a DJ or a live band.

The Clevelander is the place to go to have a good time and your burger and drink when you’re in the mood to let loose. There isn’t any other location where you can swim in a pool, hang out with ladies who have body paint, and buy drinks for just $5. shots of Jack Daniel’s, followed by beer purchased for five dollars a bottle (during football games).

Oh, you’re right—I was talking about football. Additionally, there is that. Watch the big match on one of the more than 40 televisions located across the site, including one with an LED screen 20 feet in size.

Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery

Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery is the ideal spot for every date night. With dim lighting, candles, leather sofas, and delicious cocktails, Swizzle knows just how to set the mood. With around 150 varieties of rum, you’ll find classic craft beers and cocktails mixed with a strong dose of creative freedom.

Swizzle thrives in a calm and sensual area away from the busy and boisterous Collins Avenue because it is tucked away down a tiny staircase off the foyer of the Stiles Hotel. The place is dark and tight, giving it the sense of a miniature wooden pirate ship. Lining the walls are more than 150 different types of rum.

Do you want to throw two or three cautions to the wind? A word of caution: while they look and taste delicious, these drinks pack quite a punch. Find a spot for you and your significant other at the itty-bitty bar, or snag some high-tops for a night out with the ladies nearby.

LIV

LIV is known as Miami Beach’s most upscale dance club, with a luxurious atmosphere, able to wow anyone. The exclusive South Beach lounge always boasts high energy, a classy crowd, and live music with performances by some top artists like Robin Thicke.

As a result of the club’s incredible popularity, there are sometimes long lines of people waiting to get in, hefty cover charges, and many individuals who are turned away each night. It is well knowledge that LIV is the club that has the strictest door policy.

As a direct consequence of this, the lines that form outside of LIV are chaotic, and once the rope is pulled back, there is only space for a limited amount of individuals to get inside.

Nikki Beach

Nikki Beach is one of Ocean Drive’s most impressive outdoor lounge bars. It’s the only place in the area to enjoy gourmet dining on the beach. The classy cabana-styled space provides plenty of shade with white umbrellas and palm trees. Nikki Beach is a go-to for brunches and girls’ trip happy hours.

Nikki Beach is a fashionable lifestyle store that offers branded goods and necessary beachwear products for men and women. This was done with the guests who are interested in fashion in mind.

Nikki Beach attracts visitors from all over the world, who come to relax in the warm weather and breathe in the ocean breeze while indulging in a delectable meal accompanied by inventive cocktails or a glass of rosé.

Dine under the swaying palms or unwind on a daybed while our resident DJs play upbeat music in the background. Fresh salads, inventive sushi rolls, dishes made with locally caught seafood, and slow-roasted, free-range rotisserie chicken can be found on our menu, which is influenced by cuisines worldwide.
