When it comes to the city of Miami’s breweries, there are a significant number of options available, regardless of whether you are a resident or a visitor to the town. They’ve been sprouting up everywhere, and they don’t fail to live up to expectations. So visit one of the best breweries in Miami if you’re looking for a new place to bring your significant other on a date or spend some quality time with your family.

Miami is a city that loves its craft beers. From small, independent breweries to brewpubs, there are plenty of places to go for the best craft beer in Miami. Here are five of the best.

The Butcher Shop Beer Garden & Grill

This pub in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, Fl, not only serves a wide variety of beers from its 24 taps, but it also has many customers. The Beer Tower at the Butcher Shop can hold up to three liters of your preferred beverage at any one time.

The beer list has offerings from many craft brewers located in South Florida, and there is an abundant supply of delicious, great pub fairs to eat while one drinks. Since additional seating is available outside on a covered patio, the Butcher Shop Beer Garden & Grill is a fantastic location to come at any day or night, regardless of the weather.

    Lou’s Beer Garden

More than two dozen microbrews from various parts of the United States may be found at Lou’s Beer Garden, located near the northernmost tip of South Beach. Because of its inviting outside sitting area and its chill atmosphere, Lou’s is the ideal spot to kick back, relax, and have a couple of cold ones while taking in the fresh air.

If you can locate this quaint little spot, you will be rewarded for your efforts with the opportunity to take a seat and enjoy some time there.

    Abbey Brewing Company

This is another place that’s small in size but big on beer. Abbey has beers that you won’t be able to find anywhere else in Miami, including several European imports and a few house-made beers. So if you have a beer bucket list, this is a great place to check off a few items. It’s also a nice place to relax and meet a few locals who have a shared interest in great-tasting craft beers.

Abbey Brewing Company, which has been around since 1995, has the title of Miami Beach’s oldest brewpub. This dingy little watering establishment is a traditional dive bar equipped with a dartboard and pool tables in the back room.

This ultra-casual establishment, which brewmaster Raymond Rigazio established, provides a variety of imported European beers, rare Trappist ales and barley wines, more than 150 different types of whiskey, and, of course, Abbey Brewing Company’s very own unique brews. The address is 1115 16th Street, Miami Beach, Florida 33139.

The Local Craft Food & Drink

You owe it to yourself to stop by The Local if you ever find yourself in the Coral Gables area. This establishment provides over three-dozen beers between bottles and the tap. The Local is always putting in new taps and special releases, including beers that may be difficult to get elsewhere.

If you’re still not confident that this is the right spot for you, The Local often hosts special events at which they feature beers brewed in the surrounding area. Almost everyone agrees that the cuisine, including the desserts, is of extremely high quality.

    The Mighty

If you want a good beer selection, you want to visit The Mighty. This place has over 50 bottles for you to peruse and 12 taps that are constantly changing. The owners have a great love for craft beer, and it shows, often finding taps of rare beers and plenty from the South Florida area. It’s a relatively new place, but The Mighty is quickly gaining a good reputation for its beer selection, atmosphere, and menu, full of tasty options that complement its outstanding beer.

This local watering hole changed hands in the spring of 2020. The new owners breathed new life into the well-loved watering hole by giving it a facelift that included reworking the menu to include heartier meals and adding new specialty drinks to complement the vast beer selection.

The beer selection at the Mighty is relatively excellent, with various styles ranging from Saisons and sours to IPas. Check out the bar’s Instagram to choose which of its more exciting evenings, such as karaoke Tuesdays, you want to arrange your trip around.

It is essential to make the most of your time in Miami, whether you are staying in one of the vacation rentals Miami Beach, a penthouse for rent Miami, or even one of the luxury short-term rentals Miami. While you are here, be sure to get out and enjoy the city.

And if you’re looking for things to do in Miami, a trip to one of the city’s many local breweries is a fantastic way to get a flavor of the city’s colorful culture (not to mention some amazing beers!). Of course, on a sweltering day in South Florida, there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting back with an ice-cold craft beer to cool down.
